Late last year, we heard a pretty troubling rumor about Square Enix's first keybladed outing on the PSP, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep -- that the game wouldn't get a downloadable version on the PSN, thereby preventing any PSP Go owners from getting their hands on it. It's almost nine months later, and Square has finally commented on the rumor, confirming to IGN that "Square Enix, Inc. currently has no plans to release Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep through the PlayStation Store."

Considering Birth By Sleep is one of the highest-profile releases on the platform in some time, this is an awfully disheartening turn of events for owners of the download-only handheld. We've contacted Sony and Square Enix to find out the reason behind the title's absence from the PSN.[/p]

    Lol.
    PSP Go owners get shafted.
BTW, can you not post the name of the source with the icon. It makes it look unprofessional

    Just format it like this.

Although I loathe KH games with a passion, I still recognize this as another blow to the Go.

As if it wasn't already an epic failure.

SoulSnatcher, why does it matter so much to you how he posts his news? His his post, not yours. Just leave him be.

It doesn't matter if he put 'source' or put the source name, at least he has quoted the news.

Edit: way to spoil a thread btw. even though it is kingdom hearts.

    News looks fine. Standard formatting.

And Sony really should be pulling some legs for stuff like this. If they want the Go to sell they need something to push it, sales wise. Drop the price, put a big name title like this on there for cheaper than retail (by a decently significant margin), and start launching game sales every week and you'd have yourself some boosts in Go sales.

Although studies have shown people prefer physical content > digital content, so odds are people would rather buy the game with the disc and manual instead.

I warned my cousin so many times, I mean at least a trillion times, that the go was not the way to go. I told him repeatedly he has to get this illusion that "the newest things are the best" out of his head. Not only does he have a PSP that doesn't have any known exploits on the motherboard, but he also is not going to get the game he waited forever for.

He went through all of this show boating about the go, finally get to hit it back at him.

He's a 21 year old freak out. Guess what he is saving up for. A 3D TV... I'm not even going to interfere with this one... but it should be pretty obvious why this is a mistake move.

People who bought a go probably aren't even smart enough to play this game anyways.
