elixirdream: thank you very much for your nice response

I tried to search....i did finally get spirit tracks working, but the patch didn't work for Kingdom of hearts........
I've BEEN trying to search for this for a long time.......hence the question..........sorry for the question..............................................

Yes I mean my Kids are dying to play these games...........i don't get what you don't understand.......no not kid, kids i have kidS..............Is that hard to understand?????

I don't think i've EVER posted without getting a negitive response.........

For everone obsessed with "Use The Search Next Time" (like i hear EVERY time i ask a question, no matter what forum), I'd like you to see the "Results" when searching "Kingdom Hearts patch".................

    http://gbatemp.net/index.php?act=Search&am...om+hearts+patch

Google's search finds stuff on THIS site better than it's own search engine!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am NOT B****ing about this site, i LOVE this site.....Just let a person ask a question.........That's what a forum is for..................

    Couple things:
    1. Make absolutely certain the ROM you use is a clean and unpatched.
    2. Don't trim it until after you apply the Hex Fix.

Things you probably already know, but I have to make sure [IMG]

I DID USE THE GODDAMN SEARCH BUTTON........I EVEN GAVE YOU A LINK TO THE CRAP THAT IT RETURNED

I'm sure there is a reason......If you KNOW it's a NOOB question, which you DID this one cuz of the title and subject...........DON"T click it....just as easy as you say the search is

Did you CLICK the link i posted and LOOK? Did you find the patch??????? I bet not........but after dealing with a few negitive replies i got my answer....so you tell me which works better(AFTER YOU LOOK AT WHAT THE SEARCH PROVIDES(CRAP))

At least don't go to the link if you don't wanna read the same question over and over again.....You knew what my question was before you clicked it to read the rest........if it's SOOOOOOO annoying to see why are you reading it????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why go to it then tell people to search?????? That just makes it stay at the top, you don't wanna see or read it so..................................................

Not clicking on a link you don't wanna read is WAY easier then the search that doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You all know i'm making a good point.............

"it's powered by google" I don't give a crap who powers it! Google finds stuff on this site BETTER than this site's search,......That's FACT it's NOT MY FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!

It worked!! thanks so much for showing me this (since i can't get crap from the search)

And thanks to elixirdream for posting this

How to manually hex edit KH rom:

1: Google and download a program called XVI32. This is the hex editor I used.

    2: Open your KH rom.

3: At the top click address, then click goto, then click hexidecimal.

4: Type 010E5DC into the box and click ok.

5: The first block should be highlighted and have 0C in it.

6: At the top click edit, click overwrite string, click hex string, in the bottom box type 37.

7: Where it said 0C in the first box it should now say 37.

8: Click file, then click save.

9: Put the file you just saved on your flash cart and enjoy

P.M. me if you need further help.

You're very welcome(I had to find this on my own a few months ago when I got this)!!
If you need any more help with anything don't worry about the people saying use search when you already tried, post your question, worst case scenario(unless you start spamming) is the thread will get locked.

    GBAtemp Lite

Edit: Well shit, I apologize. I did not realize that the GBAtemp Lite skin used Google as the search engine (IMO 10x beter than default) and the default skin uses the forum search function.

I have completely made an ass out of myself, and for that I have no one to blame but myself [IMG]
