Kindergarten

Heh, well I went to a preschool run by nuns. Then I started normal school at about 3, run by priests, yep catholic all the way

. I've been in that school since, with pretty much the same people. It's a big school so it ranges from ages 3 to 18.

Primary school is private so I guess thats why we were mostly white spanish kids. Secondary school is... don't know the word in english. It's the middle between private and public so it's cheaper to pay for entry and stuff. It's more mixed now, between white and latino people. We have a lot of people coming from South America, places like Peru etc, but I haven't seen any chinese/japanese/american/other european kids. Actually I'm probably the one that sticks out because I'm half Northern Irish lol.

I really hope your kid gets along well, my mum teaches little children. And theres a different word instead of kindergarten: Nursery School, lol.

Going to ------ Coming from

Well, the day is done, and according to him it went well. As much as me and his mom have been through, I'm really glad she was there to experience it (and take pictures!) This was a "staggered entry" day, so he doesn't start the every day stuff till after the holiday. We'll have a "meet the teacher" session the day before that. Supposedly today was a day for the entire kindergarten staff to become acquainted with the kids and assign teachers, so it'll be interesting to chat with a teach and see how he really did today.

When he came out he was mad because he didn't want to leave, and that's a good sign, but he was happy to see me, and I was very happy to see him. I'm so proud of my boy. Whatever he did there, it wore him out.. he fell asleep in the car on the way home.. a five minute drive.

I never went to kindergarten :'(..

All those missed naptimes.. but I was an early birthday... so my parents let me skip it, and I'm glad of it (the grade below me is just about all freaks). Today was my first day of highschool, pretty fun!

Well, gosh, thanks, but I wouldn't say I'm a really good father. Under the circumstances though, being that single dad'edness is kinda tough, I'd say I'm a pretty good father. I love my boys, and I do my best.

I'll share my little adventures from time to time, since I'm more apt to write here than in a blog. Hopefully I'm a pretty good mthr to you guys, I try my best there too.
