Man I think the game is awesome too personally. Theres a lot of hate being talked about it, I say what do you want from a shooter?

Its epic, and better then Gears of War 2, and definitely better then Halo 3.

yes better than any other fps of now
the graphics are mind blowing and the online is great, i didnt encounter any lags or bad connection (32 players online), everything is smooth. only thing that i hate is the controls, the aim is really hard to perfect
and i hate not being able to carry 2 weapons(2 main weapons) at the same time.
overall awesome

now can't wait for MAG (258 players online) after playing killzone online.

I came from a 360 and loved Halo 3 and both of the Gears games. This however blows them clean out of the water! So far its shaping up to be a pretty good year for the PS3

thats pretty much where it comes from
mainly the 360 fanboys (well pretty much all the hate) are flaming the game
calling it generic, the same as the first (even though they never played either games...), anda bunch of other stuff


btw the game looks epic in 1080p
tried it on my full hd comp screen (the demo) and it was like I was playing it for the first time again, SDTV doesnt do it justice

Ah jeez, I'm not that into shooters (be it FPS or TPS) but after reading this thread I'm really tempted.

My main concern is simulation sickness, Halo 3 was HELL for me. 5 minutes playing Halo 3 = 5 hours nausea. Resistance gave me some (1 hour playing to 1 hour nausea kind of), Haze was perfectly fine (odd, isn't it? Playing it was pleasurable compare to other shooters).

Is there a demo? I should go check.

I dont know if they made the whole demo public to the rest of the world
but you can only download it for free in the UK (everywhere else you needed a code you got with a pre-order with killzone 2) so basically just create a UK PSN account and download

I tried the multiplayer yesterday, man its really good so far, hopefully tonight I will have the time to set up my HD projector and really see what this game can do!
