I can't, or better i don't want to believe something like this. How can someone really let go of all his humanity and kill someone ... and than only for 6$ -.-V

I know that some little kids tend to overreact while playing some games but to go that far and kill ...

I love the fact that it uses the same "player died because of not leavin his seat for 3 days" propaganda that we said the Chinese used! I also love the fact that Vietnam still has "re-education" camps!

The story itself isn't really all that shocking, people have been killing each other for 5 or 6 bucks for a long time now. Is Vietnam still communist/socialist? I know they've opened their borders up but I think there's still socialism/communism. Sounds more like propaganda to me. "Sure our kids kill each other for drugs/shoes/clothes/turf/etc. but look - here they kill each other over on-line games."

I don't see why people are shocked and it's big news when someone kills for a computergame..opposed to for example a dvd, book, tin of paint etc.

But of course, computer games are a tool of satan.

SMG has been in transit since last Thursday.
UT3 was cancelled by me today because HMV are incompetent and don't order PC games for their online store, fuck waiting 3 weeks for it to be sent out.

Dan, a 13 years old Vietnamese boy was arrested for murdering and robbing an 81 years old woman for money to play an online game.

According to Vietnamese police, Dan strangled Mai Thi Mau with a piece of rope and stole 100,000 dong (Vietnamese currency) from her before burying her in a pile of sand in front of his house on November 10.

Shockingly enough, those 100,000 dong amass for 6.2 Dollars.

"Dan confessed that he needed money to play online games and decided to kill and rob the woman",said policeman Nguyen Duy Duong.

"He is too young to be put in prison for the crime he committed, but we will send him to a reeducation camp, which may release him after he shows enough good behavior", Duong explained.

I bet he learned to bury dead bodies with Grand Theft Auto
