Hell fucking yes.
On the one hand, The Boondocks is a fantastic show and I definitely want to see more stuff from Aaron McGruder. On the other hand, I'm not so sure about basing an entire movie around Ruckus. He's a hysterical character, definitely, but I think he's best used sparingly. A few of the episodes that focused entirely on him kind of suffered for this - and I'm not sure how a full movie would manage. Plus the move to live action means that none of the other characters will be involved (at least, from what the Kickstarter page says).
I'd like to be wrong, and I wish McGruder the best, but I just don't think I can hop on board.
I dunno, the episode with The Uncle Ruckus Reality Show was really good. A movie along the style of that would work quite well provided it's not some 2 hour long epic. To not tire the poor white folks of course!
