keys.bin What is this?

    Just run a NAND dump with the new bootmii release and there a file called "keys.bin", what it´s for? I need include this file everytime I need restore my NAND?

    Any response is welcome =)

    Yes, key.bin is related to the NAND which you backed up.

    Keep it, you need it with the NAND backup for a possible restore.

    If I'm not mistaken, yes, this must be included with every NAND restore. The file contains the encryption keys of your console, which are necessary to decrypt and/or restore your NAND.

    It could eventually allows load donors NANDs? Keeping the keys file and changing the NAND for the donor one?

    There is already a program that can do so, "adopting" a donor NAND to use with your Wii but dunno what it is called...

    Yes but its risky because of bad blocks and the like, so you have to be careful choosing a donor.
