Is it so hard to just read the text on the first page?

-> If you dont know by know, the game has some anti-piracy checking in it. It causes the game to freeze and not save properly. Please get your rom patched with the best anti-piracy patch for your hardware beforhand.

Just get the patch from Rudolph, patch the clean rom with it, after that you just patch the Antifreezed rom with the English Patch. It's easy.

thanks kazoWAR, because of u, i finally know which item i should use when my pokemon slp, brn, and others lol(i don't know japanese!!!)

and i use ur version 4
i found out that some item still with blank description and some still in japanese descriptions

blank description > Soothe Bell , Choice Specs in ITEMS packet

japanese description > Pleasing Anchor , Mother of Tin in KEY ITEMS packet

and for the KEY ITEMS packet the Blue Card, i go check on the old version pokemon silver, and its description is "Card to save points", this is the card to save the point when u go to radio station 3th floor and play the game answer quiz, and before u play u must listen to the radio 1st to say wat is the answer for today, then u can play the game, once u answer correct, it will gain 1 point.(the game answer quiz normal is after 10pm i guess @[email protected]).

we are going to try to translate some of the key dialog.

also, about the 2 items do not know why, the descriptions are in the file, the game is just not showing it. same thing happened when i did a practice translation with platinum.

Kazo- Awesome patches and great work at this point. but FYI, for me only GUI patch worked on clean rom other failed, and even then the GUI patch one made it crash sooner on the NO$GBA even tho i used the Ar code, set 512k FLash media and refresed it. oh well. crashes in Violet City.

I just want to know why the hell it happens. I know its becuase if the Anti piracy thing but please I beg you instead of making more translations jsut 100 compelte the anti-freezing/crashing. its too dam annoying restarting every hour of gameplay...

Special thanks for leaving the ROM untrimmed this time - now I can use the standard Game ID for cheat files.
And you must have gotten Rudolph's Patch right! All 3 bytes!
I have never lasted over 20 minutes without it and I have been playing your v4 on my EDGE for almost 2 hours.

I have played and enjoyed every Heart Gold release of yours and Raqib12's.
Even the early ones that hung-up every 5 to 20 minutes.

I have a puzzle - this has happened on your v3.5 and 4.0 and Raqib12's v3.5:
Whenever I use HM 1 (CUT) on any of the translations, the HM immediately disappears from the bag - as though it was a TM.
As this happens the same way with both your's and Raqib12's patch I do not think it is your fault, but it presents a serious problem.

Any ideas?

Are you sure you patched all 3 bytes of Rudolph's Patch?

Bulbapedia says this about the Blue Card key item you were asking:

Purpose: Allows player to answer daily question on Buena's show every evening to get points exchangeable for items
Description: Card to save points.
