Hacking Kaidomain dropped Wiikey price to $11 shipped

Yeah but we all agree that the Wii will see a better"mod solution" in the future like a real mod chip, not a dvd drive hack.
So my point is, even if this is fake, but works as advertised, who cares?
At least, I only payed like $11 USD, and if one day I decide to replace it, it won't be much of a problem, and I won't have to live with regret....

i received my wiikey from dx today
and it is definately a clone

even the packaging is different
the package on the left is the one that i ordered from eurasia, the right one is the clone
sorry, i don't have any better pics, i am not opening the clone package because i will be returning it

I wouldn't say its a clone just because of the packaging.

I got two real ones from modchipstore and the packaging looked just like the one on the right (which you say is a clone), not the one on the left.

Alright, if that's true, you're right, you can't judge it from the packaging. But if you compare the pcb to the wiikey.cn's real/clone comparison chart, you'll see that the letters are big, and that the C2 is turned the wrong way. so it looks like the bottom right clone in that particular picture. So in this case, it is a clone.

I wonder if it's true what DX is telling... that this is the first batch and the new batch is looking more like a real wiikey like the pictures on their (DX) site.

Then it will be really hard to say if it's a clone or real.

ordered 5 as a few friends want them.

i ordered a real wiikey but after i installed it i discovered it was a clone. Wasnt too happy, but it works fine and updates with that disc.

It seems to play everything so im not sure my friends would even be bothered! i wont even mention they are clones because frankly they wouldnt care.
