    I need help.
I just updated my Wii from 3.2 to 4.1 using Waninkoko's firmware updater and now the shop channel white screens when I go to it.
I had that TOna Shop thing installed before that.
Is there anyway to fix this?

Try updating/installing the newest version of the Wii Shop Channel using WiiSCU (Wii System Channel Updater), find it on wiibrew.org.

i am having a similar problem, and tried using your solution, unsuccessfully. whenever i use this installer, or any other shop channel installer, it freezes during installation of content #7/18.

for example, the text will read:

"Download complete. Installing to Title 00010002-48414241...
    1...2...3...4...5...6...-"

and just hang there, with the "-" not rotating at all. every installer I've tried has done this, and i don't know why.

Jezus, no need to bump your topic THAT bad.
As far your problem, try to install all the IOSes related to the Wii Shop Channel again with dop-IOS.

use NUSD to get the latest shop channel wad.
    install it via wad manager.
then use dop-iosv7 to reinstall IOS61

It's ok to bump a thread after a few days of inactivity, but not every few hours. Please don't bump the thread so quickly otherwise a member of staff will have to give you an official warning.

I apologize for the bumps, i didn't know how close together they were allowed to be.

I took your advice, but unfortunately it had the same effect. My wii was frozen at this point in WAD manager for hours:

"[+] Opening "0001000248414241-NUS-v16.wad", please wait... OK!

    [+] Installing WAD, please wait...
    >> Installing content #58..."

Using DOP-IOSv7 to reinstall IOS61 worked fine, but didn't help at all. I proceeded to try using AnyTitle Deleter to delete the Shop Channel and then attempt a reinstall again since i didn't really have anything to lose. However, when i tried to delete the channel, i got this message:

    "- Removing tickets... Error! (view = 1, ret = -4353)"

with some text right below that line that falls mostly below the screen, I'm only able to make out what appears to be the top of an E or F and the tops of a few i's and l's. At this point, the wii freezes, and i have to hold down the power button to reset the wii. Upon the wii turning on again, it appears that my Shop Channel was successfully removed from the wii menu, but when i enter the AnyTitle Deleter to confirm, it still shows in the list. I attempt to delete the title again, and this time get a similar message.:

    "- Removing tickets... OK!"

followed by the same string of text right below the screen with the wii freezing again. I repeat the same steps a third time for testing purposes with the following results:

"- Removing tickets... No tickets found!"

Same string of text below. Wii freezes.

I try to install the shop channel wad again to see if any improvement was made.:

"[+] Opening "0001000248414241-NUS-v16.wad", please wait... OK!

    [+] Installing WAD, please wait...
    >> Installing content #58..."

    :(

It appears that either trying to install or uninstall the shop channel causes the wii to freeze at the same step, possibly at the same block of memory. It doesn't appear that this is the fault of either the wad or the installer/deleter.

I think my Wii is broken.

    NEVER UNINSTALL AN IOS.
I just corrected the same error this morning through WiiSCU. put all option to YES and go ahead. I had this problem when using the shop channel, and photo channel. now they working like a charm.
install (update) all the ioses suggested (16,38,60,61) just to be sure, though the main one needed is 61. and ask to install the wii shop channel.
    It should work fine.

I tried your suggestions nash, but no dice. I get this result with WiiSCU:

    "[*] Installing IOS16 with trucha bug ..
    Downloading Title 00000001-00000010....
    TMD..Done
    Ticket..Done
    Content 1/3 ID:00000002...Done
    Content 2/3 ID: 00000003...Done
    Content 3/3 ID: 00000004...Done
Found new-school ES hash check @ 0x5e22, patching.

Download complete. Installing to Title 00000001-00000010...
    1..._:
    ES_AddContentStart(0000000100000010, 0) failed: -1017

    install returned -1
    Installation complete!
[-] PatchMii_install(); returned -1[*] Press any key to quit."

looks like it failed on the first install task.

If you have any gamecube stuff in your Wii take it out. sometimes homebrew installer fail because of it.
