Maybe you're not using the right adblock software?

Honestly, if I ran a website big enough to make money from ads, I'd reject any ads that tried to mislead users like that.

If you're using FireFox use AdblockPlus, if you're using Chrome or Safari use ChromeAdBlock (or SafariAdBlock), if you're using Internet Explorer, why?

Also, MultiUpload.com ,it uploads to several sites (megaupload, rapidshare, etc), and also stuff uploaded there has a (free) direct download with no waiting time.

    Quoted for truth.

Seriously, the program is a necessity, and it runs like a charm. There's no reason not to have it, really.

    Adblock Plus Pros:
    1. It blocks ads
    2. It blocks popup ads
    3. You can disable it wherever and whenever you want

    Adblock Plus Cons:
    1. Some websites require Adblock Plus to be disabled (don't worry, those websites suck and you can find alternatives 99% of the time) before you can view them
    2. It doesn't always block those annoying things that come up that say "Here, take a survey and you can view the site."
    3. According to a friend, some online schools are blocked by Adblock Plus and require the thing to be disabled.

AdBlockPlus and NoScript. You'll love the internet then (once you whitelist all the necessary domains in noscript as you use it).

I use AdBlock, so I forgot these ads even exist, except for when I'm using my father's computer. In that case, just hold your mouse over the "download" button before clicking and read what URL it takes you to, it's usually pretty obvious if it's fake or not from that.
