For the record, if you want to use multiple accounts, (I have kids), set them up first, booting a clean system and add the accounts, link some of them to nintendo IDs if you want. It is possible to add accounts to emunand, but it hasn't always worked great.

Then (for extra security) block the Nintendo Switch in your router (MAC-block), disable wifi, set up hekate+atmosphere and enjoy your system

(With blocked internet, software can't be downloaded to the switch, obviously, but it's a personal choice to disable internet)

i havent charge it since i got it, is the battery really that bad?

been playing on the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the battery is still full.

nice! i have a v1 unpatched switch i bought in 2018, and that's my pc that runs linux cuz i don't want to install linux on my main pc. hope you like it!

oh yeah, i never use my switch for games, so it's usually ~4 hours ish of battery life.

also there is a new update for it but not going to bother updating it yet as i would need to update ther stuff too so il do it when i can be bothered

i have got it yet but when i do, i might be asking a few questions if i may.

Be very careful when modding it's somewhat easy to brick it happend to me when I tried downgrading the software version and it's completely on me but it's also easy to mod you can even use a damn piece of tinfoil.

Using a good guide is safe as you can get TRYING TO DOWNGRADE AND CHANGE REGION ARE NON SUPPORTED ACTIONS AND YES THAT CAN LED TO A BRICK. always make a NAND backup so you can go back to a working point.
