no problem.
just keep your firmware ("loader") and gamemanager up-to-date, try "dofat" first, if that fails use normal mode, if that fails try safe mode. always use "trim rom" to save space, there should be no rom which doenst work when trimmed. maybe you want to use "in game reset", should work with most games.
dont touch the other options and you will do fine with all your .nds games.
