HI,
I just got an AK2i in the mail like 3 minutes ago, Already had my files on an sd card.
So i turn on the Ak2i boots up just fine. Then when i go to load a rom With AKAIO Firmware 1.4.1 or something. It goes from a "Blue" Loading icon to a "Green" loading icon then just hangs there and does nothing.
What am i doing wrong?

Hmmm, Nevermind, I guess the AKAIO firmware just sucks. I put the officiall firmware on it and it worked no problem.

No offence, but you need to learn how to READ. That's 'what you're doing wrong'.

Search 'loaders' in this sub forum. Just do it. You will get your answer 1000 times. LOADERS LOADERS LOADERS LOADERS. Did you not read the Stickies/Wiki?

No. This is why you fail.

http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/AKA...ng_and_updating

Without the latest loaders, your games will not work. It's ALL over this forum, infact, there's a thread calling out to you here. "If your trying to run AKAIO on and Acekard2i, read this to save us all, update your loaders" Could it be anymore obvious?

It is at the top of this forum. God damn it.

And for your information, Official Firmware sucks, not AKAIO.

I didn't know there was a wiki. NO I DO NOT READ. AKIAO failed by not puting a "Readme" in the firmware.

Doing a quick search or even a 5 second glance would have been quicker than posting this thread. Lazy ass people and babies (AKA those who need to be spoon fed) are not my favorite people.

In future, Google first.

Well said shatteredScreens,As much as some people are hard on some people when asking stupid questions over and over again some people ask for it when they (A) Dont search the topics that cover there problem or read the wiki and (B) Trash the AKAIO Firmware without even using it or claiming that its rubbish when they cant get it working coz there didnt read the simple solution to get it working.

Madclaw - Download the newest AKAIO Loader and put it in the _aio/Loader folder and your roms will load,I myself had the same problem weeks ago and doing this fixed it,Then you can give other people a fair opinion on the AKAIO Firmware

I'm assuming you downloaded from this page http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=5069. If you look under file details you'll see a link to the AKAIO topic which is http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=140917 and in the second post there is a link to the wiki.

Or on the very same page where you created this topic there is a topic which answers your question If your trying to run AKAIO on and Acekard2i, read this to save us all. Plus there is the link to the AKAIO Wiki.

Next, I suggest you use AKAIO. It is the most up to date firmware for the Acekard; Yes even more updated then the official firmware. It will run all your roms if you use the latest loaders.

Finally, to avoid another topic where everyone is going to bash you for asking a question that has been answered, if you want to run moonshell on your acekard then view my post on how to do that http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=150738.
