Hacking Just got a R4 SDHC Dual Core card, but 3ds roms won't boot?

You might want to mention next time that the CFW will not play games made in the last 18 or so months.

If you update emunand can't most games work on that? excuse my noobness but afaik only 9.0 or 9.2 was required for the most recent games.

There may be some way to stack a bunch of workarounds together to somehow get CFW to play 7.x encryption games. Nothing is impossible but it sure as he'll isn't something for a noob to try and tackle. The issue is not the Emuand fw version but the encryption the game uses.

Oh right my bad, i had forgotten about the 7.x encryption as i only messed around with the cfw a couple of times.

I fell for the same issue and bought r4 dual core and stuck with ds files only. My new 3ds xl version is 11.3.0-36U. Please guide me with options for loading 3ds files.

Your flashcart is not a 3DS mode flashcart it will only load DS roms as it's a ds mode flashcart

Anyways OP, make sure to do proper research before buying peripherals. If you want to primarily play 3DS games, follow the instructions at https://3ds.hacks.guide/ It's super simple and not very difficult.
