So as you can see, ive just successfully changed my USA rx emunand to EUR. Now the EmuNAND works fine. But is it safe to extract the emunand using EmuNAND tool and restore it to my console using GW ultra menu?

I've done it before with a 4.5 Japanese emunand and europe emunand, not sure about higher firmwares. Be careful if you do it and nobody is responsible for the brick of the system (If you were to do this and get one) And good luck

It's fine on lower firmwares, others have had issues with higher firmwares... So if you're trying to flash something past 6.x on your sysnand from your emunand, I'd have a hardmod...

I region changed a EUR to JPN, and then went to restore my 9.2 EUR nand to then find out that I never switched the SD cards, and when I realized I was out ouf luck - now my consoles sysNAND is 9.4-10J, so yeah it does work. (getting a hardmod done to restore my 9,2eur backup soon aha)

However, it occurs to me for the 3ds to accept that nand, there is more than just SecureInfo that denotes region...

Then i'll do it. Thanks!

forgot to mention, put your sd card in the computer, rename the Nintendo 3DS folder to Nintendo 3DSx, boot up rxmode and format the system memory (Won't effect the sysnand). You need to do this because if you don't format then when you exit apps like friends list, the system locks up. When you format, it fixes it. After the format, set up the emunand like normal and then extract the emunand and etc...

To this point, if you're flashing ANYTHING to sysNAND, i'd have a hardmod (or at least be fully aware that you might very well have to set one up, and have a NAND backup on hand in case...)
