Just Bought a PS3 Off of Ebay :D

Finally bought a PS3 off of ebay ($189.99!). It's a Phat 80GB though. May trade it in for a Slim but I probably won't. I think its backwards compatible. I don't have any games for it though so I thought I'd start a list of games. Here's what I thought of:

Uncharted 2
Mobile Suit Gundam: Battlefield Record U.C. 0081
KillZone 2
Metal Gear Solid 4
White Knight Chronicles
Modern Warfare 2
inFamous
Dragon Ball Raging Blast
Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Demons Souls
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

Of course, this is over the months. Can't buy these all at once lol

Dont forget about the first uncharted, I found it a hell of a lot of fun. Also Little Big Planet is worth it considering how cheap it is now.

Add Assassins Creed II to that list

that game is looking more and more PS3 based, not that it's a problem, but i have a feeling that it would just be better on the PS3.

IMO a "plastic instrument" is a necessity for most living rooms. I suggest either Guitar Hero 5 (for the latest controller which I heard is very awesome and you can import songs from World Tour and Smash Hits), or Rock Band 2 (way better than Guitar Hero but if you ever get this, I advise you to get a Guitar Hero controller since RB instruments suck)

Anyways get Uncharted 2 and MW2 for sure so far Uncharted 2 is.
I would get MW2 but its 100 bucks atm and its not worth paying the extra since its coming out this month anyways.

Hey, I didn't just 100% Assassin on Medium Drums in Guitar Hero (and I suck at Drums). I didn't just kill all Templars in Assassin's Creed for the lulz, I didn't just complete Lego Batman because I'm bored...

I know it won't make me better but, it makes me feel that I've accomplished something. For me, it extends game hours i.e. for Assassin' Creed, I'm probably one of the few that didn't get bored that much so I thought "why not do the collecting and stuff" and I did and the proof is there to show me that.

Yeah I'm going to get MW2. I'm going to trade in some of the 360 games I don't play and trade them into gamestop and pick up some PS3 games. My friend is also selling me MW1 and NBA 2K9 for $10 each...I may take him up on his offer.

Achievement points are worthless. There is no measure to them other then a stupid number. Ive switched my gaming to PS3 since the trophy system is much more rewarding, especially when you get a platinum. I have over 20k gamerpoints and really, they're worthless. Im level 8 on trophies and its much more rewarding.

You play one, put hours of your life into it, beat it, and for what? What do you take away in the end? Nothing. It was nothing more than a momentary distraction from life.

But, you played it for fun. And likewise, just as people use to earn points in the video games of yore, people earn Gamerscore for fun.
