Hacking Just bought a DSi XL, and I have DSTwo...

I just bought the new Mario XL. I'm able to use the DSTwo on the XL out of the box. However, when I try to go onto the Shop channel, I need to perform a System Update. Is this safe? Or will the latest firmware make my DSTwo unable to be used on the XL?

The latest firmware will block your DSTwo... but the DSTwo is special and it can update itself even if your DS won't run it.

If you're running the latest EOS, then the DStwo will update itself to work on the newest update upon insertion to your DS.
