Hacking Just a newbie question - 6.72 vs 7.55

Hello everyone,

probably it's a stupid question, but i just bought a ps4 with 6.51.
So I am wondering if it's best 6.72 or 7.55 for jailbreak.

Please answer, I need your help! =)

As someone who updated to 7.55 from 6.72 i can say this. The 6.72 jb process is more stable in general but... just recently the 7.55 kexploit had an auto retry added to it and seems to be a lot better now. The initial webkit exploit is the more unstable one and can sometimes take 10-20 tries but it only takes 20secs ish each time so not that bad.

There's always this......Rest mode on 7.55 works fine in my experience so once you have run the JB and have Goldhen loaded then as long as you use rest mode and don't power off the console the JB will remain active.

Basically, the higher the firmware, the less reliable it is to exploit.

Please bear in mind that on 6.72 you may need to back port games or updates if they were designed to run on a higher firmware whereas on 7.55 you don’t need to worry about stuff like that
