I live in Australia, and I DON'T have a credit card. I've been waiting all month for these darn eShop cards and I haven't found any anywhere. So on the 30th of June I went to EB Games and asked them when they were going to be in stock, and no one there even knew what the bloody things were! I mean, come on! They're a specialist games store!
So now I have no clue when (if ever) I'll be able to get my hands on an eShop card. Is anybody else in this situation?? It's quite a tease seeing the Virtual Console stuff and DSiWare and not being able to download any of it!
So as I conclude, does anyone here know where i'll be able to get an Australia-compatible eShop card? I live in Geelong, Victoria by the way.

That sucks; we have em' here in the States.

Why not just get a prepaid debit visa gift card thing and use that? You could even reuse it, too.

No eCards in the US either.

You have to be patient with Nintendo, it takes them forever to get their act together. [IMG]

@ Shlupi Really? --guess I need to get out more. [IMG]

Gamestop, Bestbuy and even Walmart should have them in stock.

WTF, and I read somewhere that there is a license issue for the name "eShop card" which delays the release in europe.

Yeah, Snailface. I bought one a week ago and used it already. [IMG] they are shiny and red; I got the 20 dollar card (I dunno if there are other values). I would take a pic if my camera was working. :/

We have em in Ohio. I picked up one at Gamestop and I have seen them here at our Best Buy and Toys R Us. I also saw them In New York City last week on vacation at the Toys R Us at Time Square. And of course at the Nintendo World store too.

I love how it says "For use only after Nintendo eShop is available."

No store in my city has them yet. I know 4 different people that want these cards, but can't. And I don't have a credit card. I WANT SUPER MARIO LAND for manual speedrunning.

In Japan it's the easiest thing ever (and should be adopted in other countries). You can go to any convenience store, give them some cash, and they'll print out a number that you can input on the eshop for points.

That's so convenient but it wouldn't even be worth here because there is no eShop here [IMG]
