1)Pokemon is very repetitive.
2)If they want to gab the attention of the oldies they got to cook up something new.
3)That 3D controlling could get frustrating with it hitting the walls and alll but if it's controllable through the touch screen then I'm up for it.
Also the new pokemon look like a mixture of old pokemon.
unless they COMPLETELY redo the battle system because its annoying, and the graphics and the gameplay engine COMPLETELY so its not like diamond/platinum/HG,SS, then im not getting it.
EDIT: Also they should get nobuo uematsu to compose music for it so it doesnt have shit music like the other pokemon games. also make the storyline not so dry and annoying.

Sprites with dynamic 3D is inevitably ugly. Even the earlier DS games, which for the most part used 3D very conservatively, had ugly sprites because of this undeniable fact. And now that they plan to have the characters all zoomin' around the battlefield scenes and whatnot, they reheheHEALLY heed to change their game plan graphics-wise.
Also, seems like the composers need to get their butts in gear. They did good with the GBA games' music... made good use of the new sound samples and whatnot... But the music seriously went downhill in the DS installments with bad instrument choices and just plain bad music. What the heck?
If they plan to put an emphasis on 3D, it's gonna take a lot of work to get it to coincide with Pokémon's traditional grid-based movement. Not saying they need to change it, but it'll be a challenge.

Pictures of the starters revealed!:
The region's name is Isshu (????) and is located very far away.
The main characters are older than ever before; they are not children.
The Pokemon's names are Tsutaaja (?????), Pokabu (???), and Mijumaru (?????). For Tsuutaaja, "tsuta" means "ivy" and "ja" is one way of saying the word "snake." For Pokabu, the name could derive from "po" for "pork," "ka" from the Japanese kanji for "fire," and "bu" is the sound a pig makes in Japanese culture (here it's "oink"). As for Mijumaru, "mijuku" means "immature" and "maru" means "round" or "ball."
It appears the starters are an ivy snake, a fire pig, and a sea otter.
The city shown in the top-left of the scan is Hiun City.
Zoroark's ability is called Illusion (???????). The ability allows it to take on the appearance of other Pokemon.
Two new attacks are Trickery (????), which outputs damage depending on the opposing Pokemon's stats, and Claw Sharpen (????), which raises your Attack and Accuracy.
If you trade over the shiny Entei, Suicune, or Raikou from the the Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark movie ticket preorders, you can battle and capture a Level 25 Zoroark. During the battle, the Monster Fox Pokemon will take on the appearance of the Pokemon you traded over, and at several points it will revert to its original form (probably when weak). When it does, you can attempt to capture it.
