So just choose a Sys_Menu and hit the Make JoyFlow button and wair for it to build

then install to emulated nand via showmii wads or your choice of wad manager or MMM from sd

THIS WAD Replaces the Sys Menu so you need to have your remotes and internet and all settings set up before you install this SysMenu Wad

I Use it this way and so far it is working great!!!!

If we install the joyflow system menu replacement wad to an emulated nand using showmiiwads... would we be able to revert back afterwards (for whatever reason) by installing the standard wii system menu wad using the same method?

I would think yes, but I just wanted to confirm before I go messing with my emu nand

Thx scooby!

This...sounds interesting. I think. Do I understand this correctly as that this is a wad that replaces the system menu with Joyflow? (which would be an extremely dangerous app...except that this is uneek, so there's hardly any harm).

It would allow for faster booting into joyflow (not that priiloader into joyflow forwarder is that much slower, but still...). But I wonder...is it still possible to get to the actual system menu? As it is, Joyflow inherits wiiflow's capability to exit to the system menu, including the magic word trick to exit to the real system menu (if you have priiloader with a joyflow forwarder, it would otherwise just re-enter joyflow). Does your replacement wad have something similar, scooby?

EDIT: damn...ninja'd.

@xflak

yes you can in showmii wads and i would recommend
deleteing everything from 0000000100000002\content before installing(i have more luck with showmii that way)

EDIT @wever

no way to get back to real nand unless you have the mmmb channel on nand then enter mmm channel and press home to go to real nand

ill see what i can do if overjoy can help and we can come up with a way to get back to real nand (i think i know of a way but have to mess around with it)

Maybe you should make it as a kind of Priiloader so it doesn't replace the system menu but just moves it. Then you can add a button in JoYflow to launch the system menu afterwards

shoot i wouldnt even know where to begin to try to do that overjoy

you know how "great" my coding skills are i am always asking you something

although it is something else to try and mess with

But you learn very quick so... and you know how to find me and others that can help. I also think you should release this in an installer that checks if you're really on emu nand. You don't wanna install this on your real nand. Although you can lauch HBC in JoYflow if it's installed.

Atm I am busy to add the wbfs stuff to Crediars DI module, I think I finished most functions I need for this.

Sorry...I think my italicing the "real" in real system menu gave the wrong impression. When you have priiloader installed, that actually functions as the system menu (with the actual system menu available on another name). With 'real' I meant the not-priiloader system menu. I wasn't talking about anything on the nand whatsoever.

My question was more of what Overjoy also mentions:is there a way to have the system menu in there without having to unplug your hard disk and manually put it back in the original location?
From the replies, I gather that is not the case. That's okay, though. As I (somewhat vaguely) mentioned: priiloader+joyflow forwarder already has this functionality. It's nice to try out coding stuff...but it's not needed to reinvent the wheel.

I have a question, so if we use JoYflow as our new system menu and for what ever reason we need to add a new internet connection how would be this be done if we cant access the original SM to get to setitngs?

Also as for my earlier post about JoYflow not working, i tried defragmenting the drives, SD=54% USB=2%; I would like to note that I said JoYflow loads to a black screen well it goes to that modified sceen where it switches from JoyFlow/WiiFlow but never loads past that. Sorry i havent had time to test the rest but i'm going to be the end of the end of the night.

What folder structure do you use for your games?
i converted them all from .wbfs extensions using ModMii so it'll be usb:/games/GAME_GAME ID/

I still have my usb:/wbfs/GAME_GAME ID folders as well for real Wii NAND.

I have about 50 wii games converted to .wbfs extension and just used ModMii batch conversion to convert some of them to the format uneek+di uses; I did not change the structure it outputs. So far i only have 3 converted over to my games folder, but they all mount and play fine from the menu.

Im going to try with a emulated nand of 4.2u, instead of 4.3u see how that works.

i use to have that problem and the problem was the folder structure.

you need to have this folder structure.

usb:/games/GAME_ID
usb:/games/RCDE52

thx for the confirmation bazamuffin, but can u tell me if u have to delete the files in "title/00000001/00000002/content/" as scooby suggested?

I didn't, out of curiosity. The menu fucntions fine, access settings etc. All appears normal, but if I stumble into a problem I will let you know. Im gonna leave the "content" folder in, then IF there is a potential problem at least it can be identified.

@kylster - I had that same problem with hanging and it was definitely the folder structure. I just changed the subfolders to USB:/games/game name and it sorted it out.
