Gamexplain has this video up showing if you cover either Joy Con with your and the signal gets choppy. Never tried this with a regular controller because, well, both hands are on it. Not sure if this is a real world problem or not.

Can't wait for Nintendo to come out and say, "Your holding it wrong."

can't wait for Nintendo to say "update your console to fix it!"

Either this, or a new revision of the Joy-Cons incoming soon

Probably they can update the firmware of the joy cons, it might be possible to increase the power of the radios in them (and the :switch: unit itself), but that would come at the cost of some battery life, and I'm not sure if that would even improve things noticeably.

Its obvious this is happening , its like blocking Wii-Mote Sensor with your hand , it will obviously go all the way choppy.
The wiimote's motion and standard wireless analog controls are two completely different things. This would be like saying the xbox one wireless controller desyncing from covering it. The Switch doesn't have an IR motion control like the Wii and Wii U didi.

After reading how Nintendo is delaying the Virtual Console this whole launch feels rushed.

Nintendo did not learn from their mistakes.
Even Zelda is rushed, the game went "gold" 2-3 weeks before the worlwide launch c'mon... how do you plan to deliver THAT much copies within that short time, WiiU version, switch version, Switch versions collector...

Hm , true.

Then im sure a firmware update could fix that or maybe doing new Joy Cons

Wow, it's almost like when you block the bluetooth signal, the console can't magically determine where you were pointing the joystick.
But bluetooth can be far more powerful than that. I have a bluetooth speaker that can receive from my phone across the house through multiple walls. Yet the switch joycon can't go through a single barrier after about 10 feet? Bluetooth is more than capable of doing that.

Then don't block the signal with your hands?
The Joy-Cons were definitely intended for the hands of Japanese gamers not Westerners, so Westerners who have bigger hands than intended to play with a Joy-Con will. But again, people can obviously manage where they put their hands and how they hold it.

Speaking of holding a controller, Nintendo 64's controller was weird as hell. I never really got the hang of holding N64 controllers properly.

Switch reportedly has limited bluetooth connectivity.
