Homebrew jojoban.zip will not load on the retroarch cps3 emulator

So I just got into the 3DS Homebrew scene, and the first thing I wanted to do was play JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future. I had to remove some files from the retroarch.cia folder in order to install, but only things I would not need like the other cores and some database files I would not need. The core loaded up fine, and the jojoban.zip file was found, but it says "Failed to load content" when I try to select the FB Alpha 2012 CPS3 core after selecting the jojoban.zip. Sorry if my explanation is hard to follow, I tried to say it the best I could. Any help for this?
