I don't know if I should take the title seriously and start my own "... Recommends" section, but I've just finished reading this comic and I feel the urge to make you all read it. Batman #686 - Whatever happened to the Caped Crusader? #1 is written by Neil Gaiman, of The Sandman fame. You can see it's pure Gaiman; from the dialogues to the story, from the art to the presentation, it's pure excelence. (Yes, I know Neil didn't illustrate this comic, but the art goes hand-to-hand with the story). It reminds me of The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer, a book I love. If you're a Batman fan, go read it now. And if you're a comic book fan, go read it now. Heck, go read it now, period.
PS: You can, obviously, get it for free, if you know what I mean.
