I'm currently using Assassinate/Sharpshooting (Assassins should be able to Vanih, I thought [IMG]) and High Magick/Illusion.

But, are there any better combos any of you can suggest?

Ravager/Raptor is pretty nice, or Hunter/Ravager.. Sneak Attack is pretty bad ass.

Edit: Sneak attack isn't bad, it's bad ass >.>

High level Paladin/Paravir equipped with Sequence and the Geomancy ability is amazing. You'll probably want to get a few levels as a Ninja in too for some added speed. Level as a Paravir for the most part for the excellent attack growth.

Ranger using Reverse Item with the Item Lore ability is ridiculously overpowered.

Red Mage/Summoner with the Blood Price ability is pretty deadly too.

Give your Illusionist a Bone Plate and either Turbo MP or Magick UP. Give another person a dark element weapon. Make sure the second person has the Arts of War skillset with Rend MP learned.

Have your second person hit the Illusionist with Rend MP, and due to the weapon triggering the Bone Plate's absorption, it'll actually recover MP and if you've really boosted the strength of your second person, even more than an Item Lore Ether/Ether Shot. The effect is greater with a Scholar as your target, with everyone on your team wearing Bone Plates. As long as the enemy can't absorb Dark, you'll be damaging the enemy and healing your team every time your Scholar acts.

I currently have my Luso as a Hunter with Max's Oathbow and I can recover around 100MP per Rend MP to at least two people on my team.

Also, get a Green Mage with Tranq and have her cast it on your Juggler/Thief. Have him use Ring Toss on an enemy and when it lands, you're free to steal at max rates to begin with. A team of Green Mage, Time Mage, and Juggler can devastate the enemy ranks with Ring Toss, Sleep, and Stop after they're all Tranq'ed. If you plan on using this team to assist you in stealing goodness, make sure you Stop the Sleep'ed units since they wake up if you steal...

Illusionist/Seer with Dual Wield and... uh, anything you like for reaction abilities. Basically, Magick Frenzy with Illusion skills + Dual Wield: Hitting every enemy 3 times!

For Nu Mou, Alchemist/Anything (Sage?) is a good combo, because you can use ether without losing an ability set.

    RedMage/Summoner seemed popular for Viera.

And, one of my favourites, is Trickster/Bishop.

Is Red Magick/White Magick with Blood Price and MP Shield good enough for Viera?

    P.S.

Wow, how much have you people played this game to get this far lol?
I'm 14 hours in, and I haven't got a lot of the jobs still. Still, this game is sooo damn addictive.

I wouldn't use White Magick with Blood Price, and Red Mage already has a few White Magick skills.

Go Summoning Magick/Red Magick (or vice-versa) with Blood Price and Reflex.

Advantages of Summoning Magick over White Magick:
Phoenix heals and raises, in a large area.
Unicorn heals, and removes debuffs in a large area.
Kirin adds regen, in a large area.
Maduin is basically holy, but again, in a large area.

I feel that the Summoner is the best class for the Viera. I mean, apart from multi-purpose skills, and a negotiable cost for the spells, it gets a lot of magick growth and can be horribly abused with Blood Price to completely workaround even HP costs. Build up some speed and you'll be getting first-turn Regen to your whole team or the like.

Yea you can, think it works with anything that costs mp.
It's fairly fun with Spellblade abilities for double status effects.
