    iainprice has released a new DS homebrew application, Japanese and English Phrase Converter.
    Obviously, it translates phrases from English to Japanese and vice versa!

    Ahh, so it's not a straight up translator, but has a couple dozen phrases it can give the equivalents of?

    Umm that's cool I guess.

    He should use Kanjidict as a base so that he has less work to do (instead of building up translations himself just figuring out a decent way to get it to fit.

    (KanjiDict has many phrases)

    Isn't there a phrase translator anyhow? My cousin showed it to me, and it seemed quite nice. It was only in Japanese (the program itself) but it seems quite useful. It even speaks it aloud for you.

    When it translates to Japanese does it use Romaji, Katacana, or Kanji?
    (I think i wrote those all right. It's been awhile since i was interested in learning Japanese and never succeeding)

    Actually it would be Romanji, Katakana, or Hiragana.

    Kanji are collective or Katakana and Hiragana.
