Hacking Jap N3DS and US OoT Workarounds discussion.

So Im a similar situation, but I have an American O3DS and a happy N3ds, should I buy the JAP version of the game or should I just get a SKY3DS and use that to launch the game (is SKY3DS even working with this?)

Well, I believe now that the update is released by GW, GW would under more pressure to work on an alternative, especially after it was discovered that sky3DS could be used to replace the OoT+dongle combination - after all, seeing that their hard work is just boosting the competitor's sale is not that satisfactory.


I myself do not really care GW or Sky as long as they work. At the moment I'm happy that Sky is working - of course it'll be great to have choices but because nothing's really hanging on that I could probably be more patient than others.

They were under pression since people bought their cards and they didn't did nothing, and they continued with no news, so i don't think it can be soon.

Well, if you have money, buy a sky3ds. In here I have to import them and with the price of the dollar nowadays, it'll be more expensive than buy gateway. So i can't buy a Sky 3DS, and i don't have a friend who have it

If you don't want to potentially get burned, wait for people ordering japanese Zelda games to confirm it works or wait until the sky thread gets a japanese rom working. If you don't care about the money just buy a copy of Zelda now and help us test it or buy a sky and help the sky thread (they need more japanese N3DSs).
