Well i made a Nand dumper that uses usb --> if no usb device is found it dumps to sd
also i ported zestig to windows to extract the dump

so you can dump and extract your nand on windows and its better then fs dumper

First things I've noticed (haven't tried it out):

Lot's of commented code. I normally leave that stuff out. (Unless you want to be user-friendly, but John Smith isn't going to be reading code if all he wants to do is dump his NAND).

You have USb one time. Not a big deal. Just bad grammar.

There's a backup file of a source file in the archive.

Also, just wait for BootMii. You can dump your NAND in 6 minutes then.

yeah i know i commented some things for myself as i dont think a normal user would edit the source
and i know about the USb one ill fix that some time

Commenting code should be an obligation ;-)

those who are only interested in dumping the NAND won't even care downloading the source, so if you make the code available, this is for a good reason: let people learn from it...

Wow cool!

With fs dumper i always got an error when i wanted to dump my nand (3.2E btw)
Now i will try yours!
Hopefully it works.

well if it would error just pm me i have a version that uses ios 249 and one that can identify as Super User but fs dumper does that and thats why it fails i think and mine doesnt do that and just uses normal ios 36

i have a ne app (not released yet) that dumps all the keys like nand aes key, common key, ... to files on the sd card

thank you so much for this release.
I have been trying to compile zestig tool forever without any success.

for anyone who already dumped their nand on extra info. this tool can extract the "without ecc" dump.
and it works like a charm.

one comment though.
when it does not find USB you should consider changing the message because it keeps the copying to USB.... even though it is dumping to the SD.

Sorry for bumping, but does it also work on dumpes with ecc? I have a dump here using RealWnD and choose to make the dump with ecc. Can it be extracted?
I tried it on Vista 32 bit and XP 32 bit and on both I get an Access Violation from zestig.
