So, I have 3 retail games that I plan to dump off to Gamestop:
    C.O.P. The Recruit
    Fighting Fantasy
Sideswiped ($20 budget title that Gamestop never seemed to carry)

All of them are in brand new condition with the cases and all included booklets. They are the USA versions.

I don't need them anymore and I figure I may as well trade them in before their trade-in prices drop any further. I don't need the retail carts as they all work fine as ROMs in my CycloDS, as of the latest FW's. I imagine I could likely get more if I sold them through someplace like E-Bay or whatever, but I don't use E-Bay, so....

Obviously, I'll report back what I did get for them, but I thought it might be fun to see who comes up with the best guess.

    So, start guessing.

    $7 for COP
    $5 for Fighting Fantasy
    $3 for Sideswiped

Why would you ever sell Sideswiped? It's a great game. And the reason they don't sell it in-stores is because it's only sold online. Still, it's a great game, keep it.

As for COP and Fighting Fantasy, I'll say like $10-$15. I don't really know. You can also trade them in for discounts off other games there.

You can always give me Sideswiped if you don't want it, though [IMG]

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I'm terrible with prices and never do trade-ins.

I'm sure my guess is going to be way off seeing how I've only played one of the three games and Australian DS games cost a LOT more than US games but I'll try anyway.

    C.O.P. The Recruit: $11
    Fighting Fantasy: $11
    Sideswiped - : $5

This thread makes me sad, thinking about the costs of games in Australia compared to the US. :

How much does Ebay take after you sell something in it? 3 percent right off your profit that you made?

OK, the deed is done. I don't know how much per game, I didn't get any receipt, but the total was $22 if I planned to buy something and $17.63 to just take the cash. I just took the cash because I don't plan to buy anything further for my DSlite.

Why would I sell Sideswiped? The ROM works fine, don't need the retail cart, never used it for anything other than dumping it anyway, same with the other 2 games. How do you think you guys got them? [IMG]

I suppose you prefer Mario and Pokemon type cutesy games. I actually LIKE the games I just traded, just don't need retail carts of them since my CycloDS plays them fine as ROMs.

You actually liked COP? I thought it was kinda a craphole. Very frontier pushing in the graphics department, but horrible physics and lots of repetition.

Sorry if we're getting off topic here, but we've already gotten to the heart of the issue anyway.
