Hacking I've been gone for ages - Need some help

Ok, last I remember, we were all going on about custom channels after the hdd loader came out, I made loads of channels for my games.

I'm also on 4.0E

What I want to know is, is there a program I can use to uninstall these channels? I might have the WAD's somewhere on my pc, but this was months ago, possibly a year ago, so maybe there's a new program out that's more userfriendly than what we used to use.

Also, since I'm asking questions and I don't like stickies, what should I read to update my Wii and get up to date with everything?

Hmm, this all seems new, so I'm not seeing anything regarding updating from 4.0E.

If I have preloader 0.29 (Bootmii?), is it safe to use the regular update in the system menu to update to 4.2, so I can start again from scratch?
