3DS surpasses DS's year one sales in 8 months
I clicked in hope of 'It happened: The 3DS has been hacked'.
I AM DISAPPOINT
Whoa! A console with an established name thanks to DS's great success sold better than the DS which was a console built from the ground up after ditching the GameBoy name!
How... unsuprising and uneventful.
Wow, I honestly didn't expect this, especially as I don't know anyone atm (irl) who owns a 3DS.
Also OP, you need to sort that formatting out, everything is centred.
Wasn't this already announced before?
Anyways, it's not really surprising, but it's still amazing. =3
The 3DS doesn't have many games so far, but it sells like hot cakes. xP
Huh, and I thought it wasn't selling all that well.
For some reason the beginning of the title made me think "It's Happened: The 3DS has been hack.'' :/
What is Nintendo goal this year for how many 3ds' sold?
(For the Record I didn't want it hack yet, the thought just ran thorough my mind.)
Old news bro
Old news is old.
EDIT: Do you Mubarak is going to survive despite mass protests?
Same here, lol.
Maybe I get one next year. Maybe.
I've tried the thing a little bit on my videogame store with Pilot wings could never adjust the 3D effect.
So i was expecting : It's Happened! The 3DS cross eyes our children!
Won't surprise me to see such news in few years, how did they test before release the long range effect of their device? Customer guinea pigs yay!
Old shit has hardened and turn white. Please use the search button next time.
Pilotwings has crappy 3d, trust me it's much better with most other titles.
Was and wasn't expecting this.
I wasn't expecting it due to the dumb rumours of people getting headaches and tired eyes from the 3D screen.
I was expecting it due to the 3D capabilities of the device.
You accidentally a word.
Old news, and the DS had a shitty first year. Impressive, this is not.
The DS was really hard to get at launch (For me and people I know).
3DS's are everywhere... so this kind of surprises me.
Great news though.
Look at the floor. Put your hand between your eyes and the floor. Now, while still looking at your hand, change your focus back to the floor. That's all you're doing when you're using the 3DS.
I can only use the 3d function for about an hour then I have to turn it off. I'm playing Zelda. It kind of makes me car sick and I'm a heavy computer user.
I think you have to look at the first 8 months of both devices to really see how they compare. The 3DS took off really slowly, but thankfully with the last few weeks having seen a few good quality releases in Super Mario 3D Land, Sonic Generations and Mario Kart 7 today, plus the Christmas season is in full swing now, I am honestly not all that surprised the 3DS has sold as well as it has. I know a lot of people were disappointed with the launch, me being one of them, but the price cut so early on and good quality games being released recently, with two more for North America in February, the 3DS will establish a solid user base at exactly the right time.
