Its depressing(Lack of rail shooters)

    Well, you've got Touch the Dead and DS Simple Series (#32 I think) which is exactly like Touch the Dead, but different (and the 1st level drags on for FARRR too long). Both are good for some zombie blasting action. There's a homebrew one as well, but I can't remember what it's called.

    Touch the Dead shows how rail shooters don't really work as well as planned. The game does everything that it can as a rail shooter, but when you think about it, the best part about rail shooters is being able to hold the fake gun and feel like you're doing some damage. Not just poking the screen. It gets wayyy to simplistic.

    Touch The Dead was way to repetitive to be fun. I played through the whole game though.

    English of the Dead worked very well, though you write to kill zombies.

    Actually, the most fun I've had with rail shooting on DS came from the recent Goosebumps game. There's a couple/few mini games that are brief rail-shooting romps, and they're a blast. The rest of the game? Meh....
