Ack, thats too bad. I've had my R4 for about 6 months now, it's probably getting ready to break any day now...

Wow, I've had mine since February (M3 Simply) and it still functions like new.

Well, I got the spring removed now! That was hard though. The black plastic thing keep sliding off into the other part and I was afraid I'm gonna scrape the thing. But it's working, so I guess it's OK.

Mine seems just fine and I've been using it more than 6 months.
