Hacking iTouchDS Cheats Won't Work

Well they were working fine before. I had it the way it's supposed to be set up (root/system/cheat.db). I downloaded the database from GBAtemp. It all worked fine. Then I added a new code to Pokemon Platinum (J) and suddenly cheats won't work. Instead of the card creating a 32kb .cht file, it now creates a 0 byte .cht file that does absolutely nothing. I've tried EVERYTHING I could think of. Please help, thanks.
