Hacking ITouch 2 and Sakura

Hi, sorry for my ignorance, but i just want to confirm if the you can use the Sakura firmware on the ITouch 2? if yes, do you just put the sakura firmware in the root of the micro sd without putting the itouch2 firmware? thanks..
