OP
wondering cause the temp goes up to 80's without it set to 100 and with it set up at 100 it stay at 55 degrees and never moves an inch in temperature. I know new fans are cheap so not too worried would just like to know couldn't find it anywhere.

if you really want the system to live nearly forever, send it into a reballing service. theyll make it run like new, with little to no risk of YLOD happening. Also, why would you want it set to 100%> that will sound like a jet is taking off in your house. You can usually get cooler temps on stock fan speed by opening the system and replacing the thermal paste that is more then likely dried up by now.

Without running any games I get around 50 Celsius, when running games I get around 65 Celsius with fan set to 45%, there is no need to set it at 100%, setting it at 100 percent would sound like a jet engine and kill the blade of the fan faster. Like what nero99 said it is recommended to change the thermal paste to something Arctic Silver 5 or MX2.

If you know how to take it apart then you can do it yourself.

and If I have to Pay 79.99 I will rock the fans at 100 till they fall off or smoke or whatever fans do and shit and buy new ones im sure its cheaper than $79.99

You can (and should) replace the fan with a better and quieter one. Might take some hardware modding, but it's worth it to make it quieter.
