just delete the internet setting in your 3ds then delete the game from activity log after you finshed with the game.
But I don't want to delete the internet settings, it's a pain setting them up again, especially considering I have to set up the proxy and subnet manually for my connection... Injecting to H&S will hide it from activity log and as long as I don't go online with it, it should work fine.

i dont think i fully understand
No need to, if you don't, then you just don't know what to do anyway and may mess things up, so don't bother. Basically, you can look inside the CIA to see if the files are those of a game and if they are the preload or not...

ummm... did you just say inject it into home and safety? I'm pretty sure that's not possible due to the fact that the 3ds has crap on board storage, and home and safety is on... well, the internal nand.

Reason I said I don't know how it would go with such a huge file

Pretty sure that isn't feasible anyway. If people want to play a LEAKED game they really need to get the fuck over the ban fear mongering. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Take the risks or don't.

The RomFS cannot be mounted because it's encrypted.. A better way to test it is to try to extract the RomFS with CTRtool or any other extraction CMD program. You'll always get "Not a valid RomFS!" when using an encrypted file. Saves a lot of time from copying 3+GB to your console..

If you can mount the romfs, the files are intact and so on and there's no seed missing, then it's real. Anyway, it's too much trouble to explain what exactly to do.

EDIT: Never mind, Majick explained it nicely:P
