Isaac Clarke and Zeus join Playstation All-Stars

Sony's controversial crossover fighter Playstation All-Stars just received its first batch of DLC containing Gravity Rush main protagonist Kat and Starhawk posterboy Emmett Graves. There's now more DLC coming, containing Dead Space 3 frontman Isaac Clarke and the mythological god Zeus.

Also coming is a new stage based on the recent PSN-exclusive indie game The Unfinished Swan, mashed up with Sony's old MediEvil franchise.

This new pack of DLC comes out March 19th (my birthday!) for the Playstation 3 and Vita. Pricing is unknown.

At the very least, it's nice to see Sony support the game despite all the sales and developer troubles. They're really giving their customers the Royale treatment.

I'd really be interested in the game if they added older Sony franchise characters though. I'm not a fan of the PS2 and PS3 reps. Sir Daniel is the only character I really have interest in. It's kinda upsetting.

Well that's why I said Old Snake whose very iconic to the Playstation 3. Plus that's Solid Snake. If they made it the Big Boss (either in his Portable Ops/Peace Walker/Ground Zeroes form) it'd be noticeably different plus different playstyles (aside from the completely different gameplay between the two games, the weaponry of the Big Boss plus his rather notable CQC which you didn't see Snake use until he became Old Snake is useful).

And I see your complaint, it's just that Sony's older "notable" franchises like Crash and Spyro are in completely different hands now so they can't use them. And if they did, it'd be a shitty Skylanders version of Spyro to promote Skylanders. Which no one wants in a Sony crossover fighter.

A side note, I still don't own the game. I've heard mixed things but apparently it's a great 2v2 fighter and yeah, I'm interested in it.

And you have a point. But they do have other old characters they could use. Dart (Legend of Dragoon) and Rudy (Wild Arms) are both usable. And Dart is arguably popular (Even though Wild Arms is still an on-going series, just not made by Sony anymore, it's still on Sony consoles exclusively.)

I don't own it either. Not really because of the mixed reviews, I'd know I'd enjoy it, but because of the characters. If I'm playing a game, I want to play as a character I think is cool/cute/neat/interesting.
Hence why in Smash Bros I play as an Asortment of characters I think are interesting. Such as Wolf, Zelda, Pikachu and Marth. (Maybe not so much Pikachu.. I just like him.)

The part about DLC...meh. I'll wait for the full extended version to pick up in a gaming bin. And I'll probably even skip it then, unless there'll be some sweet second hand PS3 deals once that next console launches.

Actually there is already quite a bit of free PSABR DLC. It's not that bad a deal compared to other fighters and their DLC

New content is always nice, though I still don't own the game.. Maybe later

Well the Kat/Emmet DLC was timed free. I actually think it stopped being free yesterday. They're $5/ea now and the stage is $2.

EDIT: I'd also like to see Aveline from AC: Liberation. She's pretty cool.
