Is this the right flux to use?

    90% of solder (probably more actually) will have the necessary flux inside it but that looks like it will work well.

    those pens are often expensive and not all that great
    "fungus resistant" if you have fungus growing on your pcb you have other problems

    i perfer fluxes, even though most solders usually are rosin core, i perfer the flux paste that cost like 2-3 bucks, get a toothpick stir it up so it softens, then use very tiny amount on contacts think it helps for me but thats just me.


    anyhow just get non-corrosive flux and your fine shouldnt have any problems finding it at a local store
