driver irql can mean many things, from a driver issue to dieing hdd or gpu/cpu/ram.
alright, but my computer is less than a year old, so I doubt it's a dying component
but anyway, it occured for the very first time, so if it doesnt occurs again, I guess it was an isolated case, right?

Are you seriously just now seeing the new BSoD? This has existed for six years now. But yeah, this is from hardware failure. Your GPU quite possibly overheated.

Well, last time i saw a bsod was on my 2012 computer
now it's on my 2017 laptop
I had "invisible" bsod from what I've heard, Windows crashed, the screen froze, but it wasnt blue with tons of messages
well, thats whjat I think I understood from what I've been told

since when does a bluescreen have to be a hardware problem? in this case the bluescreen seems like it came from a kaspersky system driver....
https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/381980-klfltsys-bsods/
You can install whocrashed software to analyze the crashdump in detail if you want.
my suggestion? get rid of that kaspersky and problem will probably go away.

Because BSoDs are either caused by hardware failure or a kernel panic. Kernel panics are rarer, and they tend to only be caused by anti-viruses when one has multiple installed (for whatever retarded reason), or a driver shits itself.

lol, I've paid kaspersky for 3 years, i'm not gonna leave it up
Plus, it's the first time i saw this screen, so i guess it's still worth it
You actually PAY for it? Oh you poor sap. Did nobody warn you it's snake oil?

@Noctosphere , if it crashes once a year that's not a big problem yeah, i hate bsod's with drivers just because they are completely unpredictable and might cause some data loss.
Anyway windows defender does the job for me, while not the best av it's enough for most cases...

@Joom i've been repairing pc's for about 15 years and i think i've seen more bsod's from buggy system drivers than from hardware failures :P

It's snake oil, like I said. All AVs are. They do nothing against crypted malware, which is what is spread.

I've seen them caused by overheating more than anything. Especially if the client is a heavy smoker.
