Gaming Is This Safe Jtag Xbox 360

Hi All,

I have just got my elite 360 jtagged and my daughter went to make a new avatar but its asking for an update.
I have heard mixed answers with some aying just put the systemupdate folder from 8955 on usb and upgrade and others saying it will lose your jtag.
My system already says "8955" in settings but it must not have the avatar update.
Just wanting to be 100% sure before i mess anything up.

you can install the avatar update, did it myself on jtagged 360.

Ok so i just put the fall 09_8955 update on my usb stick and run it.
Im assuming it will only do the avatar update as my xbox is already on 8955.

That sounds incorrect.

that is correct, it will only install the avatar update to your hdd because you're already at the latest dashboard version.
