I think the easiest way is to ask him if its okay if you drop the wii off in person. i saw a gumtree advert for wii mods, and the person said they lived in Leicester, a city near me. i messaged saying i was interested and could i drop off the Wii in person and pick it up the next day/a few hours later or whatever. he replied saying it wasn't possible because he didn't live in leics. (despite that being the address where he said to send). from that i presumed it was a scam!

The answer is of course no! As soon as you see the "hard work" one put's to install these you aren't gonna pay him [IMG]
He may let you "wait outside" though ( I suppose )

If possible, get your chip installed with a "while you wait" installer. I do installs and everyone feels more comfortable watching me install.

If you know where he lives then you've got nothing to worry about.

I own the site, and Yes I'm establishing a customer base ATM, if needed i can refer up to 50 e-mails of people who have had installations from me, from Ottawa or from US(well maybe less then 50 but still). It's hard to trust someone who "just popped out of nowhere", but rest assured, I've been doing Modding since the ps2 days, Used to work for a famous Modder in Vancouver who died 4 years ago in an accident. Point is, if you don't trust, don't use my services, it's worse enough you go bashing people who are legit. It's a free country, so i guess it's alright, but have some ethic and try before you accuse.
