Hacking Is this card now done for?

So basically, I'm asking about the R4 SDHC - Dual Core (2011 Version) I think. I have gotten a DSi XL from a friend which is on Firmware 1.4.5 after checking that.

I get an error on screen that says "Error Occurred, bla bla, turn off the console".

Not sure if I can somehow get this card to work again without to much trouble, or if this card is blocked due to the DSi's firmware update. Which I assume it did automatically and has been on for a while.

Do you have the flipnote studio on the DSi? If yes: install the hiya cfw. That will unblock your R4.
