Hardware Is this a semi-brick?

If your wii can access the settings but cannot run or load games, or if it freezes when it tries to load a game.

semi brick is when you cannot enter wii settings results in a OPERA Display message!

Banner/corrupt channel, will result in either a blank screen/system files are corrupt after health warning screen

Ok so does anyone know how to fix it if that happens?

Edit: Okay so this isn't a semi-brick. Thanks for letting me know. But since the games cannot be read, does that mean the laser is broken? Or if it can read legit games but can't load them, does that mean there is a problem with the wii itself? If anyone knows can you please tell me.
