Hacking Is this a legit R4i Gold seller?

Planning to buy an R4i so i can play my old games on my 3DS XL.
Is the above link from a legitimate site? And if my firmware on the 3DS XL is on the latest can I still buy it, download the latest software on it and use it?

If the 3DS's firmware is later than the cart, you cannot run it or update it because you need to run it in order to update it.

IF the shop updates it before sending it out you'll be good. If not, you'll need an older DS to update it. That store doesn't mention doing it, however, so we recommend one of these instead.

Yes. The Lite doesn't have firmware updates that block modern carts.

Far as i knew,many store now provide preflashed flashcart,inclued r4i gold 3ds .You can ask the seller you will bought from or ask them do that for you,so you dont need any updating yourself.

Yeah i did, decided on a differen card that has the latest firmware as well as a 4gb card.
