Hacking Is there such thing as a save data backup that is built-in in the PSP?

Seems like my memory stick has some problems once in a while. and i wanna backup my save data using the psp. its tiring to connect it to the pc every time i want to backup.

There's probably some homebrew that can do that, but I don't think there is save backup built in to the firmware.

there is no homebrew to do that because there is no other place to back it upto other then your pc

Any FTP client should be able to do it if you have an FTP account or set up a server at home but there might be a more convenient way. I couldn't find an app made specifically for that purpose though.

Im searching for one but i cant seem to find anything or i just dont know where to look since i dont know anything about homebrew

so your psp isn't running custom firmware?

there is one its called SaveDataMgr v1.0 I don't if that's what your looking for but it's worth a try

Note: you need a CFW to use it, if you don't know how to use try reading the readme.txt

It is. I think, cause it can play iso. I think its in 6.60.

you can use the copy option in save manager, but you need 2 sticks.... it's easier put your stick in the pc
