Test it out without a bootmanager. I had the same problems with DS Games but because it's a N3DS mh4u was not affected.
Just replace your SD:/arm9loaderhax.bin with the one from luma3ds v5.5 (make a copy first). If you do it like this, you won't need the pathchanger because thats the default path.
You don't need the luma3ds.dat either if you are on a9lh. Just replace that file from luma3ds.
Load up emunand with luma3ds then and test it again.

This step will make sure, that it's not the fault of your 3ds if it starts working.
That extended memory games not working because you're in emunand this is just bs.
He's using menuahx.

Oh this wasn't clear for me sorry.

then do following:
Just replace your SD:/boot.3dsx with the one from luma3ds v5.5 (make a copy first+rename luma3ds.3dsx to boot.3dsx).
After that copy luma3ds.dat into SD:/luma3ds.dat
If you do it like this, you won't need the pathchanger because thats the default path.

Load up emunand with luma3ds then and test it again.

@solress: Then you did something wrong. I do own an O3DS and I always used Menuhax+Emunand. Never had problems with mh4u/ssmb except that the 3ds did restart after ending the game.

Just wondering, how long did you wait? I had to wait at least 2mins for Smash Bros to load up. I thought it was a black screen, but actually it just takes a century for it to load. If it doesn't load after 10minutes, then it' *really* freezing. If it doesn't work with Luma, temporarly try out rxTools 3.0 (temporarly, because important stuff was changed in 11.0, which break some stuff)

I think you might have better luck if you follow Pialect's guide to swap out your menuhax with A9LH on your 3DS. Then for good measure you can go ahead and transfer your EmuNand to SysNand and update to the latest version.

Not saying it's impossible to play these games with Menuhax on your O3DS, I used to have the same setup, but I'm so much happier now using A9LH.

The way the reboot patches work is this:

Typically on menuhax it searches for the arm9loaderhax.bin for the reboot patch and when it doesn't find it it launches the Luma3DS.dat with an offset
But if you use the path changer it thinks the arm9loaderhax binary is named Luma3DS.dat
And it looks for it, finds it, and launches it without an offset, but since it's the .dat file it requires an offset to launch properly.

The reason this is failing is most likely because you used the path changer on the .dat. Like I said earlier download the .dat from the release and *dont* use the path changer on it, keep it named exactly as is and put it on your SD card root.

There's hope for a Xenosaga port.

Replaced. Same outcome: blackscreen T_T
Did you do as @MarcusD suggested?
Take into consideration that it takes ages to boot even from the original card in the old shit 3ds.
And even with the original card and no cfw you see a black screen for some time before even "loading" shows up.

Waiting for about 3-5minutes each time. Do I have to wait longer?

Im still on rxtools and MH4 is working fine. O3ds too
Is it possible for you to send me your files? :3

I think it takes no more than 1 or 2 minutes at most. That is not working.
Yep. MH4U (full and demo), MHX, SSB all gets stuck in blackscreen.

Since you're already at 9.2, take the step towards a9lh. It'll help you in more ways than one.

I was actually considering it, but to risk a brick... I mean if there's only something wrong with my CFW's reboot patch and I can resolve it without jumping to a9lh, then I can settle with menuhax.

You won't brick as you're already on 9.2. The downgrade to 9.2 is the risky part.
