Is there going to be a PS3 firmware update to play PS2 games??

    "Finally, expect Sony to give 3D a little lip service, announcing a U.S. launch date for a system update that will let the PS3 play games in stereoscopic 3D, along with backward compatibility for several existing titles and some downloadable new ones specifically designed for 3D."

    I think it means that some PS3 titles that already have been released can be played in 3D, not that it will be able to play PS2 games

    Going by past track record, they'd be more likely to issue an update that removes PSX BC than one that adds PS2 BC. [​IMG]

    If that was the case, then we all can look at a certain phrase within a certain $49.99 a year plan. Which would suck.
