Homebrew Is there anything like the freeshop but for microtransactions?

Subscriptions like Bank would be kept server-side so beyond our control, and item-based microtransactions like Picrites in Pokemon Picross would (if held locally) be editable in HxD.

A very general way to know if you can do it or not is to understand whether the action is client or server-sided. For example, pirating games can be done because the game is installed cilent-side. Microtransactions, however, are server-sided, and as such can't be downloaded or hacked.

PKSM was stated as not the most reliable transporter, but it seems to work well for some people. honestly, its just $5 for the whole year.
